43 Degrees North Real Estate is proud to announce that Dewy Shattuck has joined our team!

Dewy started in new construction in 1998 representing builders and buyers in Ada County. During this time he has closed transactions totaling over $30,000,000.00, the majority of which as been representing clients buying and selling new homes. Dewy has been an on-site sales agent in the following communities:  Rolling Hills, Brookwood, Brownstone, Harris Ranch, Heritage Commons, Ashford Greens, Rock Hampton, and Muir Woods.

For the past eight years Dewy has represented Schaffner Signature Homes (also known as The Legend Company). Dewy has also represented Sageland Homes, Glenn Johnson, Jayo Builders, Mohr Builders, and Brighton Homes. Dewy thoroughly understands the building process from plan development to walk-thru and is great at helping buyers feel comfortable during the long process of building a new home. To further his expertise in real estate, Dewy received his broker’s license in 2007.    

Prior to getting his real estate license in 1995, Dewy worked for Cyprus Mining Company for fourteen years as a Maintenance and Warehouse Supervisor. Dewy worked for Cyprus in four different states; therefore he understands the special challenges associated with relocating. To help others he became certified with ERA as a Relocation Specialist.                          

Dewy graduated from Eagle Mountain High School in California in 1968 and attended College of the Desert in California where he majored in football and minored in Law Enforcement. In 1993 he married Debbie and they have a nine-year-old son, James.  He also has a daughter, Jennifer and another son, Dewy, and five-granddaughters. Dewy enjoys camping with his family, swimming and hunting.
