DOWNSIZING... PART 3
Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 6:02PM To most people my “epiphany” may seem as an “obvious” but because my head has been swimming with
everything still to be done, I couldn’t really think clearly, so the “epiphany” As I was pulling out of my garage the other day I
somehow focused on the in- home gym equipment that has consumed it’s place in our garage for upteen years. It basically
acts as a coat rack, hat hanger, helmet holder, you have the picture. In otherwords it has served everything BUT it’s real
purpose. -) Anyway, back to my epiphany, “MAKE A LIST!” Duh. The garage is so obvious as to what needs to happen, and
that’s great because there aren’t as many decisions to make as to the what stays and what goes.
I chose this as my first place to really hit it. I made the Craig’s list for items to sell, as well as everything that I need to do in the
garage before moving on to the next place of purging, the kitchen (yep, pg 2 of “the list” has already begun)I’m giving myself one week,
between working etc., to get er’
done and I can’t wait for that feeling of accomplishment! It’s so hard not to get side tracked, but back to focusing, and I suddenly
feel calmer. Now I just need the energy to proceed (mornings are best for me) but…………..I know, I’ll turn on the MUSIC and dance through the process!
